Fishing Report for Sunday, May 1, 2011

May 2, 2011 | By

Thanks for logging in for this week’s fish report. This week’s report is coming to you from Tonya – I work behind the scenes and post John’s weekly fish report. This last Sunday my husband, kids and I had the opportunity to go fishing with John. He picked us up at 8:30am and we headed to the previous day’s hot spot, a place John had been holding since 4:45 am that morning.

Despite John’s best efforts, we didn’t get a bite all day. There were 27 boats on the river, with the most productive boat of the day landing three salmon. The weather was beautiful, and even though we didn’t get any action, we did get to spend some quality time with the kids.

The rest of the week looked much better, with 14 of the best eating Spring Chinook salmon landed.
