Fishing on the Umpqua River is Great
Today we had are first double, but unfortunately one got tangled up in another line and the fish made a big run and broke off. We ended up with 3 out of 5 today and had a great time. Our big fish today was 32 pounds and we had a 26 pounder and a 17 pounder. The ones that got off had to be much bigger. Have opening for next week. Love hear from you. Have a good day. Fishing on the Umpqua River
Today I went to the Umpqua and had an awesome day! We hooked five fish, released a tail biter and kept the other four. The Umpqua is a great fishery. There were about 60 boats and we saw 35 to 45 fish hooked. I was told that yesterday was even a better bite than it was today. This fishery I am told will
last up until the middle of September. It ‘s nice to find a river that can be a backup for when we want to catch fish. I would like to thank my friends Steve
and Arillia for inviting me to come along with them today. I became bait boy, netter, and part time boat operator. It was a lot of fun! I wish you all could
have been there to enjoy a great day. You could, all you have to do is give me a call and we’ll make some great memories for you.

Happy Times on the Rogue River – Rebecca’s Fish
This 9 year old had her hands full with this mid-20’s King Salmon. Her Dad helped her hang onto the rod, but she reeled it in on her own, while Grandpa took photo’s and her Uncle shot videos!
Rogue River Report – For August 04, 2013
Today we worked hard for this one and we lost one. The fishing is starting to pickup a little after the big exiting on Wednesday. ODFW had 140+ adult and 17 Jack, which equals about 5000 fish left in the bay when the river cooled. It’s starting to warm back up and that will get the fish to hold up in the bay and improve the fishing. You can’t catch them at home so come beat the heat and smoke and we’ll do are best to find you a couple of nice fish, like this one or bigger.
