Fishing Report for August 23, 2014
The Umpqua is loaded with big fish Thur I was 2 out of 10 bites, had 2 leaders brake and in 12 years of guiding I have never had that happen. Today I had my friend call to say he was 2 out 6 with 32lb and 41lb. I had really great people with me Thur but they had never fought big fish like these before and I was running beaded line. I went back to 30lb mono line and am thinking about in line bungee cord . There was close to a 100 fish today according to my friends. Have opening and would love to see your eyes light up with one of these Monsters so give me a call.
