Even on slow days we’re still able to catch beautiful fish like this 24 pounder here on the Rogue Bay. Most of us are average in 1 per client. If you’re tired of the heat you might want to come in enjoy feisty fight. This fish took a hundred and eighty five feet its first run. You can’t beat that for excitement and it should do nothing but pick up. Water temp was 73.5 when I came off today.

Look at this whopper we caught on Wednesday!
Thursday we had a 28lb and a 16lb fish. Everyone caught a fish. It’s getting better each day and water is warming up and holding right around 70 degrees. It had cooled down but now we are back to a temperature that will start to hold them in the bay. So, come and get them!

Today we landed three out of four fish the third fish was the one that got away was a monster like the Chinese lady caught this week. The 2nd one was a wild silver which I have never caught this time here before in my life. It was about 8 pounds but going home with two fish is always a good day.

This is my friend John and he called last week and told me he wanted to make a memory before Monday. He has an anurism and was going in for surgery and wanted something to remember this summer and have something to look forward too. As you can see, we were well blessed and John was on his way home by 10 o’clock.
Don’t you wish this was you?

Richard was sure happy he could keep wild fish today on the Rogue. It would have broken his heart to let this 30 pounder go. There’s probably 2 to 3 weeks of Springer fishing left and we have openings.
Richard tagged out today 30 pounder above and the two below. One happy camper!!
Fish number 3 and what a beautiful fish 33lb. This young lady is from China and I believe they probably heard her clear over there she was so excited. It’s such a joy to see the smiles on their faces. l do live a blessed life.
Fishing Report Week of 5/15/15
As of the first half of the week we’ve landed 6 fish and had 3 keepers. Wednesday we got two keepers. Next day we hooked and landed two fish this 1 is the smaller of the 2. Of course the big fish was the wild fish and we had to release it. That all changes as of June 1st, when we can keep both wild and hatchery fish. I’m starting to book up for the summer, so if you want to reserve your space to catch one of these lunkers, give me a call and have a great day. John

Fishing on the Rogue has definitely picked up. There’s anywhere from 100 fish to the next day 50 fish, but most all boats are getting one to two fish and some three fish or more.
There’s 25 pound wild fish. Like he was 40 wish you were here to enjoy the fun.
Fishing Report for August 07, 2014
The Rogue is producing some really nice fish right now. Nothing can be than can be this 26 pounder which fought like a 36 pounder lon the line. We had 3 more bites that didn’t hook up for us today and saw 30 or 35 out there. One hooked in a half day trip for 2 on the line. It’s hard to know if the Umpqua is better or not but it will be shortly. I have three days open next week and will be on the Umpqua at the beginning and end of the week. Don’t let the heat get you down. Come on over and make some memories of a lifetime.

Dominick’s first salmon and fought it like a pro. If he was ever in a youth tournament, he’d be my first pick. There are fish jumping every where. The biting is slower than we like but should pick up. I’m still at a one fish per person per trip.
